Couples therapy video, 591. I was seeing this couple weekly. They came in on a Tuesday. They had not spoken one word to each other since the previous Tuesday night, when they had an argument after one of our sessions.
I said, what has it been like for you two to be in the same house and not talking? And they both said, eh, you know, no big deal. I said, bullshit.
You show me a silent household, I'll show you an angry household.
When two people live in angry silence, the silence equals venom, yuckiness, anger.
