Last updated: April 2026
Dr. David Karol Gore, Ph.D., P.C. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit drgore.com or submit an inquiry through our contact form.
1. Information We Collect
Contact form submissions: When you reach out via our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you provide.
Automatically collected data: Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security and operational monitoring only.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through our contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if appropriate, to schedule a consultation. We do not use your information for marketing purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party except as required to deliver our services (see Section 4) or as required by law.
3. Confidentiality and HIPAA
All communication and information exchanged during therapy sessions is protected by professional confidentiality obligations and, where applicable, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled strictly in accordance with our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Please note: our website contact form is not a secure medical communications channel. Do not submit sensitive clinical information through the contact form. For clinical matters, please call us directly at (404) 237-4300.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate this website:
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless infrastructure. Vercel processes server request logs in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Contact form submissions are transmitted via Resend to deliver your message to our inbox.
Neither service receives PHI. Contact form data transmitted through these services is limited to the information you provide (name, email, phone, message).
5. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioral tracking technology. Any cookies set are strictly functional (e.g., load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider).
6. Data Retention
Contact form inquiries are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request and, if a therapeutic relationship is established, in accordance with applicable records retention requirements (typically seven years after termination of services in Georgia, or longer if required by law). Server logs are retained per Vercel's standard retention policy.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. Requests relating to PHI are governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you are a parent seeking services for a minor, please contact us directly by phone.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
